For a long time I was critical of his play, at least his hitting, but his reputation for giving back to the community and being a solid clubhouse guy always balanced the equation. He is loved at the hospital for hours upon hours of time donated to spending time with the sick children and he is a generous contributor to Motts Children Hospital. He has many supporters because he is a class act! All that he's has been through, losing his job twice and coming back like he has. Finally listening to coaches and making adjustments at the plate.
